23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. - Prov 21:23 (KJV)

Most Christians do not realize the power of spoken words. The bible is full of verses that tell us the power of our words. God created the universe, world, animals, plants, trees, and us, with His spoken words. Read Genesis 1 and notice that when God spoke, something was created, and nothing was created without His speaking it first. We were made in His image, and our words have power, to both create and destroy. We can speak blessings or curses, and all created things will respond, including our own bodies. Both life and death are in the words we speak (Proverbs 18:21). There are no idle words, and every word you speak creates either life or death, and if it isn’t speaking life, then it is speaking death. You need to realize this, and as this verse says, watch what you say at all times, as Jesus will hold us accountable for our words (Matthew 12:36).

How many times have you gotten into trouble by what you say out of your mouth? We all have said things we have had to apologize for, and our mouths cause us a lot of trouble. James wrote that the tongue is a small thing, but can set the world on the fire of hell, and can not be tamed (James 3:8). The bible also tells us that out of our hearts, we tend to speak evil words. We are snared by our words, and gotten into trouble by our speech (Proverbs 6:2). These verses are not telling us not to speak words, but to be careful of what we say. As Peter said, if you speak, speak the oracles of God (His words) (1 Peter 4:11). If we speak God’s words, and in accordance with His commands, then we will always speak life. We need to choose our words carefully, and not be speaking without thinking about what we say (Proverbs 10:19-20). Us Christians need to be speaking the Gospel out of our mouths, and praying to God always, giving Him praise and thanks. Let your words always reflect your born again spirit that lives within you, and it will be words of faith and blessings. Speak holy words, as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15)!

Does anyone know what the Real gospel is? The Real Gospel, the new covenant is not spoken, it is too offensive.

The Good News of the gospel is that Jesus came and died for us, so we could again be with God - Now and forever. Love, Pastor Joe.

You do not know the New Covenant, you have been taught lies... Work on that.
