Dear Lord, we know we have descended into evil and darkness. We know we are corrupt and perverted, and have strayed from your teachings. You are using the forces of Satan to be your sword as you punish us for our sins, and we accept your judgment. But Lord, we beg you, do not allow the forces of darkness to continue to prosper. Make us your instruments of wrath against them, that we may strike them down for your greater glory and righteousness. Give us the sword, O God, that we may cut down the wicked like straw in the field, and grind them under our heels. Amen.
