This is one of the selfish reasons I place responses on here. There are a few brands of Gnosticism out there that I've seen ... at least in style. I think some of the freemasonry Gnosticism refers more to an evolution/transhumanist/luciferian style. I was referring to what the gospels were talking about, with Jesus being a parable for truth and awareness (for lack of a better term) is the Gnostic state to find and reside in.
