John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Stoning a woman for being raped was stopped in that pasasge, but that does not mean laying with a man as a man lays with a woman should be permitted. John 8:7 shows mercy to a victim, what would jesus do to the perpetrator? or specifically what would he do to 2 fags shouting at him to 'be gay or go home you intolerant bigot'?
How far would Jesus let the fags push him around before he took up a sword to put them down?
My point in bringing that up is that sin should not be condoned, but that those who show anger towards sinners and view themselves as better because they sin differently is wrong. We are all sinners. Just because someone sins differently than you does not give you the right to condemn others. Also, where in the scriptures does it say the woman was raped?
she was being stoned for adultry. the definition of this includes consentual sex outside of marriage, and rape.
John 8:3 to john 8:7
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Context is key. Adultery is against the law of the land, and adultery includes both rape and consensual sex outside of marriage. i chose the scope of rape, because nothing in earlier parts of this story go into detail to split this modern hair of an ancient tale.
In
John 7:51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
shows this is a criticism of the judicial system of that day. Jesus was making a statement about the court system by freeing a woman accused of adultery, and directly undermining the courts authority. The court was oppressing its people much like the left oppresses common people of today with their gay pride parades, constant harassment for not embracing the gay in everyone, and ruining the lives of anyone who does not accept gays exist, be friends with gays, then join in on the deprave sex acts with the gays. i would love to see jesus speak on the oppression from gays on the straight community.
then he just may bring up
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
and call for the death of all abominations.
