This past April, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons), instituted the Ministering program, replacing Home and Visit Teaching. We've had many church meetings about this topic, but I'd like to get other faiths' thoughts on this. Are all of us doing our part in ministering to our fellow man? To paraphrase A Perfect Circle, are we walking like Jesus, or just talking like Jesus?

I’d love to comment on this. I would but I honestly don’t have a ton that would be helpful, personally I have faith but I don’t force that view on others. I try as much as I can to be an example and I hope that’s enough.

I don't think the heart of ministering is force and if someone feels that way then the person ministering as probably lost sight of the ways of Christ.
Also ministering is way more than speaking out about your faith, although that's part of it, it's in the way you live more than anything the things you do and the way you speak so being an example coupled with the knowledge of the God you follow can be the most powerful ministry.
