Daily Devotional

October 8

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. - Heb 8:10-11 (KJV)

This is a quote from the Old Testament (Jeremiah 31:31-33), and it applies to us who are Christians – praise God. This New Covenant we are now under, is where God now places His laws into our minds, and hearts, when we are born, and He puts the knowledge of Himself in our minds, so that we all know that He is God, and what the laws are. Some people claim that they have no knowledge of God in their hearts, but that is not so, as God has put it there. A person can deny God for a long time, and become reprobate (Romans 1:28), and lose the knowledge of God out of their minds, but not their hearts. All people now have the knowledge of God in their hearts, and in a crisis situation, even an atheist will find himself calling out to the God that they say they don’t know exists.

This verse is a quote from the Old Testament (Jeremiah 31:34), and it is telling us that no one needs to teach you that the Lord exists, as that knowledge is already in your heart, and that includes everyone. Most of us as children have had times that we looked at the stars and heavens, and wondered about the God that we knew existed. What a wonderful fact, that we are born knowing about our God and creator. Man has had to work hard at denying what God placed into our minds at birth, to be able to be an atheist. I believe it takes more faith to be an atheist, then it takes to be a believer, yet the devil has convinced many that God does not exist, and that we evolved from slime. How dumb can you get! Praise God for giving us knowledge of Him when we are first born.

Can I ask why?

Because they are home to God's chosen people, and God says we will be blessed to support them. Love, Pastor Joe.

Doesn't the title of God's Chosen People and the Seed of Abraham now extend to any saved person in Christ? Galations 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Those titles are in spirit only. The Jews denied Chris's sacrifice on the cross since they weren't given an earthly kingdom and went on to become advanced Kikes.

Revelation 3:8-10 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

I also love your devotionals

Thanks for the comment - If you question my use of scripture I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit that lives in the born again, and He will tell you what is right and wrong. He is the one that I ask for guidance in all I do. Love, Pastor Joe.

The entire Old Testament regarding the Israelites is an allegory for Chris's relationship with the Church and His children the Christians.

Thanks for the comment, and for reading God's Word. I don't debate God's Word, just try my best to teach it. Love, Pastor Joe.

Well, I guess I don't agree with that.
