10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. - Matt 15:10-11 (KJV)

Jesus was rebuking the Pharisees in front of the people when He said this verse. He later explained this to His disciples when they didn’t understand what He meant (Matthew 17-20), and Jesus was saying that the words that we speak, come out of our hearts, and they are what defile a person, not the food that we put into our mouths. This is so true, and shows what is in our hearts, by the words we speak, for out of the heart come the issues of life (Proverbs 23:7).

The words we speak contain either life or death (Proverbs 18:21), and as Jesus told us, a person will be held accountable for every idle word that he speaks (Matthew 12:36-37). The majority of people do not place any importance on the words they speak, but God created this whole world by speaking it into existence with His words (Genesis 1), and He made us in His image. This places a tremendous power in our words, and they can cause tremendous good or evil (James 3:5-6). Our words are what let us who are born again, and have the Holy Ghost in them, be able to do the works that Jesus did, and commanded us to do (Matthew 14:12). God flows through His people by the words that they speak in accordance to His will, shown in the scriptures. Praise God for giving us the power to speak words.

Faith is a mental disorder.

It literally means belief in something without any proof. Don't get me wrong, I love the teachings of Jesus. Love. Peach. The Golden Rule.

But Christianity can't work in a world with niggers. Those missionaries that go to Africa are insane with faith.

edit: *peace not peach

Maybe your looking for the wrong proof? Are you looking for hard data to justify your existence? God is Love; Love is proof. I was a paraprofessional for pre-school and K-5. Seeing love , joy, trust, curiosity, etc in a childs eyes is proof enough. Theirs is the purest form of Love before this world dulls it. As it says in the bible, "be like children", " let the children come to me", "whomever causes a child to stumble should tie a millstone around their neck and jump into the sea". If you love then you protect what you love. If you have your own kids it makes even more sense. You're eyes could be looking at the wrong things is all i mean.
