The doctrine of male pastors is based on 1 Timothy 3:2 (KJV):

By inference, this means that although a woman may have a teaching ministry ir a healing ministry, she is not authorized to have a pastoral ministry. Pastorship is a function of priesthood, and is reserved for men, just as motherhood is reserved for women.
