A large scale civil war could break out, or China could go back to corruption as usual until the growing economic crisis causes more unrest.

I don’t think so. China really is collapsing under the weight of its own corruption. Trump knew tariffs would weaken them, but you can’t time a collapse. The CCP might hold it together for years.
