I figured as much. Korean fried chicken is the fucking shit, so I imagine that the Japs can do it better than we can too
The Japanese can definitely make incredible fried chicken, but the KFC shops are still KFC by nature so their version is better but still like crappy American KFC. Even convenience store (combini as they call them) can easily beat KFC. The famous Family Mart "Fami-Chiki" is awesome and there's nothing quite like it stateside. Fresh chicken-karage from a local family shop is the way to go though.

Wish we had something similar to japanese and korean convenience stores. Would make my late night hunger a bit easier to deal with rather than having to pick between shitty fast food that is still open.
