Imagine the size of the pumps to create such massive vacuum chamber.

A vacuum failure could be catastrophic. If there were a sudden rupture in a section of the tube, the result would be a "wall" of air rushing into the tube at close to the speed of sound. Should a train be travelling toward that, it would impact the wall of air like hitting concrete, resulting in a tube full of mashed passengers.

I wonder how they handle thermal expansion, corrosion, etc?

Thunderf00t did a video about it regarding the similar idea called Hyperloop Musk scammed Commiefornia investors with.

He is an insufferable cunt almost all the time, but occasionally he's correct. Hyperloop, Solar Freakin' Roadways and the Waterseeker were a few notable ones of his.

Agreed. That probably because of his infinite hate for Musk.

It will fail marvelously.

That train really sucks. Pun intended. 😉

So it's a hyper loop that has been designated as a bad design at least on earth? Ok.

Imagine going that fast and an earthquake hits, even a small one?

Wow. Is it safer than a plane? Guess we will find out soon enough. Mag-lev itself is ok.
