I haven't noticed any significant price shift on aliexpress yet

Me either. I suspect there are a lot of parts and things in the supply chain, seems like the companies leaving are finished goods makers.

The paper dragon exposed?

China was good so long as the cheap prices for labor continued. It was bound to go up at some point, and companies are leaving to find cheaper labor again.

The complete dictator-like lockdowns didn't help. I suspect that while companies won't admit it, some have the "Need to be someplace that can't just shut our supply off" card in their wallet.

OSHA certainly wasn't present in china, but wage pressures were certainly increasing.
