If AI was a sentient super intelligence it wouldn't need to take over the world with terminators or by launching all the nukes. It would just hack idiots brains by inserting "exploit code" into images of cats it generated and was showing to people.

Well, this is moved from technology to China. And this is odd. Because AI is global issue. If this article was about New Zealand or Australia, Japan will this be moved to "appropriate" sub? Especially because big part of post is about deep fake, article which is not connected to China. These two articles are connected in many ways. My personal reason to post this article is because I'm artist. And my ass is on chopping block. But don't worry, artists don't have privilege... Your ass will be on chopping block soon or latter. No matter what your profession is.
