I don't trust western media on almost every issue they cover. Yet I've realised that I've completely taken their claims of a Genocide in China at face value without even thinking it through, I've had a normie moment.

So do we think it's actually happening? Or is there an angle the US/west are pushing here?

The Uyghurs have got the same problem as many other Muslim societies: Saudi Wahabbites sent Imams and money, turning the youth into Jihadists. After some knife attacks in Uyghur cities, the Chinese decided to reverse the Islamist brainwash. Mostly, they teach the Uyghurs to respect their own traditions again, like music and dancing - something the ultra orthodox Muslims tried to get rid of.
