We had only one survivor left, the oldest one of the flock. Five years old. still laying 2-3 eggs per week now that it's getting more sunny. Yesterday I pressure washed the disassembled coop and put in a replacement automatic door. Time for some new life on the premises, two brown and two white girls, all about 22 weeks old. The old hen is giving the new brown ones some grief, we'll have to wait and see.
