I usually see them daily and the fact they've survived for so long outside of the coop is incredible. Skittish little bastards won't let anyone near them either.

Once they go feral their flight feathers and tusks grow back in and then they become much more aggressive. They're still hanging around because they're whispering to your other chickens through the wire at night, suborning them, turning them against you. Watch their eyes when you come around. Do they all suddenly stop clucking and turn and watch you until you leave? Sleep light and keep your shotgun handy friend.

Do they have some sort of cloaking device that renders any modern camera to potato status?

Just like. If you squint, there is a bit of the loch ness monster there.

To late. They went feral. He's already on borrowed time. Soon the beaks will pierce his skin.

I will send the drone to film for our viewing pleasure, King

Tropical jungles is their natural habitat. Forests give them cover from hawks and are full of bugs and such for them to eat. If they survive there, and if you have a rooster, they'll start breeding. You should go looking for their nest.
