If you give a man a fish, he'll eat for one day. If you teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Just figure out what's in your nearest body of water and go to a bait shop and tell em that's what you're fishing for and you need everything. That's pretty much how I got started.
