I got board quick and never saw what the hype was about... change my mind. Seriously I have it sitting next to the PS4 largely unplayed.
The hype is the story. The plot and characters are so well written and believable. The gameplay is also incredibly detailed, I've been playing it for two years now and I'm still discovering new things. I'm not sure how far you got in the main storyline, but you should really pick it back up. If you get bored there's always interesting side quests or just random events that occur around you. Never a dull moment.
I got to the first few shootouts and a decision point early on to either kill or let a prisoner go... I'm probably only a few hours into it. I guess I did not get far enough into the story to get hooked
