Basically, women are driven much more by emotional pleas than men. They are subject to the strawman rhetoric that censorship is fair in order to help the less fortunate. For instance, antisemitism. They can identify with jews and jewish victim status. Women will align themselves with that stance and support laws aimed at stifling speech that somehow hurts jews. Most men see past the emotional pleas and understand the tactics are nothing more than tyranny. We know there is only free speech or tyranny. There is nothing in between. Once there is antisemitic or hate speech, you've lost the battle of complete sovereignty. Now the despots can incrementally increase tyranny to things like laws to enforce personal pronouns and anti-vax speech and so on. What an adventure.
