I hate it when people make charts like these without giving much information and spread it across the internet, and as a result, a lot of end users/non-tech savy users tend to be gullible and just go with what's posted on the chart without getting more info on said platforms. Like @germanshepherd said, I can tell you a few things that are wrong with this chart.

There is no reasons given as to why I should use the platforms on the right hand side. Like why should I use them? What are the technical aspects of those platforms that would give an advantage to user freedom compared to the platforms on the left side of the chart? Is its source code free and open source? The technical aspect is the most important issue when looking for platforms that promote user freedom.

I would disagree with vanillo and gab being Alt-Tech, or Free-Tech as I prefer to call it, since their source code is proprietary. Also, the founder of Gab opposes decentralization. DuckDuckGo's source code is not entirely free, and they recently partnered up with Apple to provide maps on their search engine, which is a red flag given Apple's history of privacy violations. Don't much about protonmail to give an opinion on it. BitChute and Minds are the only ones on the list that are fine.

Edit: oops how could I forget?! Poal is also fine!
