The 'truth' is an idea which defies scrutiny. Censorship is the opposite of truth; it is the promotion of lies.

It appears that the very same disease of censorship on Voat was transmitted here to Poal during the great migration. There is a sizeable group of accounts which have taken control of popular subs, and then ban the truth from coming through, thereby promoting lies and growing the disease.

It is likely that these very same accounts are controlled opposition judging by their ardent and CONSTANT projection onto others of being a jew while their ideas are questioned, at which point they are permanently banned -- akin to a child unable handle contrary thought.

In their twisted world-view, they define a sub as 'property' for which they decree to deny access, yet Poal does not belong to them, and neither does speech (do you think they own your property @AOU ?).

The link attached is a conversation between @AntiClutch and myself regarding this very same topic of censorship and ownership which ultimately led to censoring of my speech on not just that sub, but 11 others controlled by him:

This egregious act would be comical if it weren't so chilling considering that some of these sub have more bans than posts... It is clear that already the specter of censorship is taking hold right here in one of the VERY LAST bastions of free-speech during a time when it is being eradicated all over the internet and all over the world. It may appear insignificant at first, but this is all it takes for Poal to become yet another dust-bowl of freedom.

You must understand that the enemy knows the crowd and has indoctrinated them for generations from words, phrases, and ideas to protect the lie: this is what you're up against.

Are we sure I don't? I literally went on and on about how speech is used for control. About how free speech only works in a homogeneous setting. An echo-chamber.

Are we sure you don't need to accept that?

Free speech is fine and dandy for the OVERALL site to adhere to. Free speech is antithetical to itself for specific subs to adhere to.

Speech with a normie that you're trying to convince

If you want to convince them, then yes, you must; they live in a censored world and you'd be alien to it otherwise.

You are right in the respect of having the cushion the blow for the average person. Which I do. But this isn't for the normal person. Poal isn't for the normal person and it shouldn't be for the normal person. I'm not going to cushion the blow here. I just am not.

So there is something to your point. But it doesn't have it's place here. Not even remotely.

I forget but I truly hope your arguments which I deleted weren't the ones of fascism and communism being "brothers" or "related" in anyway. Because that is flat out wrong. Fascism is about individual liberty and rights. Fascism is about caring for the whole by way of common relation (not necessarily ethnicity [Mussolini was a civnat cuck and loved his diversity]) Fascism is about holding the individual to account for his deeds on the whole. Fascism is not about restricted rights. Fascism is not about total control.

Flip each of those sentence and you have tyranny; totalitarianism; communism; socialism; democracy.

The Greeks had a play poking fun of democracy.

Aristotle wrote on democracy.

The Founding Fathers wrote on democracy.

All of the above were fascists through way of multiple different forms. But generally republics - which the US was created as. That being many distinct government overseen by a single authoritarian republic.
