Our priest was discussing the tower of Babel and the dispersion of the people into different languages/groups this past Sunday. I was thinking that this could somehow be related to the current religion of multiculturalism. I had the thought that multiculturalism is sinful man's prideful attempt at undoing the punishment done by God at Babel. I don't know ... what do you think?

Multiculturalism is ok (look at all the different rites) but multi-religionism and holding all religions equal is not ok. The tower was people equating themselves to God by showing with sinful pride that they could all unite and reach heaven their own way via the tower as the symbol of their accomplishments without God. God's way or human way? Man-made religion falls like the tower. You can all be different language and culture, but there is only one path to God, and it is not a man-made unity or man-made religion that gets you there.

Today's Tower of Babel false promise of USA's accomplishment of a heaven on earth is via unity (thru silencing opposing views), equality thru equity (taking away from others), social justice based on racism (anti-white), peace thru violence etc. with all religions considered to be good and equal (ie all religions are myths and muslims are allowed to whip their women), and no longer limited to two genders since you can be born in the wrong body.
