did you watch the linked video? we could argue this till the cows come home, but i don't think you can deny that if you are not praying, then you are not holding God in your heart, and if you don't have God in your heart, then you are not saved.
i can see an argument that, just because you pray doesn't mean you are saved, but I also see that if you are TRULY praying you are putting God in your heart.

I had not watched the video. So I checked it out.
You are right, seeking God through prayer is certainly a part of Christian living. Paul says we should pray without ceasing. Jesus says pretty much the same thing in Luke 18.
But also, faith without works is dead.
