Aside from the fact that "kill FOR the mass" is different than "kill to DEFEND the mass", it certainly is an interesting question. Performing a quick review of history, we can see that there have been times where the faithful were fighting for the faith (i.e. swords and shields and whatnot). The Reconquista in Spain or the Crusades are some quick examples. Battle of Lepanto would be another. I think if it came to that, I certainly would join a MORAL effort to defend the faith. And consequentially, this may come very soon, particularly if the "Equality" act gets passed. I do make a distinction between a moral fight and an immoral fight. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say....
