It has been a few years since I read the Old Testament, but aren't there many wars described there? Doesn't God command the hebrews to rid the promised land of all inhabitants there (i.e. kill people)? How about David, one of God's favored, who wages in battles? How about the Reconquista of Spain, or the battle of Lepanto? Christianity would not exist if not for either of those. I don't think the strawman you have constructed really reflects any valid Christian faith.

I am just curious, why is it you are so confrontational? Maybe I am reading too much into this, but it really seems you are out for a fight, rather than a conversation.
