Nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to worship or even acknowledge Jesus' mother.
[27] After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own." [John 19:27]
Why would the Son of God not want us to recognize his mother? That's ludicrous. John being the most beloved disciple was entrusted with Mary, from the Cross! We are entrusted with Mary because she is our mother by virtue of Baptism into the body of Christ. We take mary as our Mother because Christ gave her to us.

You can do whatever you want...
If praying to Mary was essential, the Bible would say so.
The Bible is not the sole authority of Christianity.
So the only things we can do are what is commanded in the bible, and we are unable to do anything that is not commanded in the bible? sorry, but your comment does not stand up to reason or logic. Nor is your comment related to the original post.
Jesus said and when you pray do so as follows.... It father who art in heaven.... That prayer lays out how you are to pray line by line subject by subject in order.
You can do whatever you want...but nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to pray to Mary. Jesus didn't say pray to Mary. None of the epistles say we're supposed to, or required to, or say anything about recognizing her as a saint at all. Praying to Mary is not required to get to Heaven.
Praying to Mary is not required to get to Heaven
No Catholic (who knows anything about their religion) would say that it is. That doesn't mean you cannot pray to Mary.
