Well, good luck to you. Hell yeah, that's awesome. I bought 2 houses where I'm at just for the land. It took a while for the garden because it was all clay and I had to fence it in because a stream runs through. Chickens are a good Idea and I got everything ready to get some in the spring.I turned a shed into a coop watching youtube videos. I'm going to try pheasant to, I think. I don't know. Maybe rabbit.
Good luck, though. Youtube saved my ass. Are you getting meat chickens or egg layers? I want to do both but they don't do well together. I think the layer, because they don't stink as bad and I'll build another coop for the meat chicks.
