Hand crank?
Yes. You could get one started with probably a gear-reduction hand crank. They are shut off by a mechanical lever on the injection pump which is also vacuum actuated. If you are in the South, you really don't need glow plugs even.
Rebuilt my transmission and the programming part was the easiest. Updated strategy and reset adaptive tables in about 5 minutes. It may be a pain but they are badass transmissions. Stock unit able to hold over 600 hp with $300 in clutches and a $75 shift kit.
Laughable. My kei truck is pushing almost 40 horses. I see no need for another 560.
Hauling 14k trailer with 40 hp wouldn't get me out of my driveway.
