I doubt that breakeven point is evening factoring in the price of the battery being replaced as its energy storage potential degrades. I don't know numbers about expected charge cycles but I doubt the battery will still be good after 10 years.
It probably will have some capacity left, but nothing really useful. The life of the vehicle is ~10 years.
Take into account even a lightly maintained modern ICE car can easily run 15-20 years, there's no comparison.
Life of the vehicle is 10 years? Thats insane.
I say 10 years because that's how long you can reasonably expect a battery to last with any kind of charge capability. Does your phone battery hold a good charge after 5 years?
The vehicle itself is probably fine, but when you need a $12000 "engine" - assuming the battery pack is even available, as the required parts build time is 10 years for a car in the USA - is it going to be worth it?
