How long have we been saying this? I looked into getting a EV a while back because why not? Well, for me personally it makes no sense. I don't drive much but when I do it is often long distance and not to a place that is EV friendly or has a lot of chargers. I also don't want to spend an hour at a charging station while on a trip if I have to wait for other people or if fast-charge is unavailable for some reason.

They make sense for some people but not for the majority. Ill keep driving my 20 year old gas vehicle thank you. I can work on it myself easily. Parts are readily available, it can be towed easily, Tires cost a lot but that's because I have big tires.. not because I have to have special tires because the vehicle ways so damn much. Oh, and I can gas up easily anywhere in the country in about 5-10 minutes. If I am going somewhere really of-the-path I can bring extra gas cans with me just incase.. Can't do that with a EV (you would have to bring a generator and gas cans with you....)

>Electric vehicles are used 20 percent less than gas-run cars, a new survey revealed - as it suggests what's holding many drivers back from using futuristic automobiles. According to a survey from iSeeCars, electric cars are driven the least out of all vehicles - but cost the most. When comparing how people use electric cars versus hybrid and electric vehicles - data revealed that three-year-old gas cars are driven 12,813 miles a year and EVs are driven 10,256, 20 percent less.
