Made in China. They are being built to only last long enough to be shipped across the ocean, bought by some sucker and driven off of the lot. Also, good luck not getting lead poisoning from having contact with the vehicle or breathing in that "new car" smell.

Make it a 50k% tariff. That and everything else not produced in the US that won't cripple the country. 100% tariff is still profit for them. They basically use slave labor. Make that thing cost 100k not 20k.

Only after a certain number of charge/discharge cycles. That is if you and other EV owners are even able to charge these cars due to the frail Electric Power infrastructure.

Oh, the people with enough money to buy EV's will just buy diesel generators to charge them since the grid can't handle it. It will have the 2nd benefit that they will have power while the grid is down because of all of the.. EV's.... Trying to charge at peak times.

BYD manufactured EVs have been catching on fire all over the countries where they get exported. They are poorly manufactured death cars that will absolutely fail in the US market. $10K means they will be utter shit quality and will catch fire within 1 year of being on the road.

Yep, If you are stupid enough to buy this.. Don't park it within at least 100 ft of your house. Or in a high-fire danger area. It is going to explode at some point. Just hope its not in your garage or you are not driving it at the time.
