I look at EVs the same way I looked at the ".COM" bubble: it was an utter fad. EVs do have some legitimate uses. But Toyota understands their limitations. As a result Toyota, is one of the very car companies that got it right.
By the way, I hope Hertz goes bankrupt for their bait and switch scam. They were stupid enough to over commit to EVs and now they're scamming people with these bullshit cars.
