Tire makers are trying to find new tire compounds for EV so they don't chew through tires in 10,000 miles. For the Ford F150 - imagine tire wear if you have the heaviest V8 powered arrangement. Now go to the hardware store and load it with 20 50lb bags of sand and drive everywhere fully loaded. This is still lighter than the F150 Lightning empty.
