Motorcycles have always been incredibly fuel efficient. As for congestion.. lol there is a reason the people in high populated areas favor bikes, mopeds, and motorcycles for transportation.
The whole narrative for banning motorcycles is absurd. Maybe there is a case for noise reduction, but this could be curbed with tigher noise emission regulations if it were really an issue.
The only part of that narrative that adds up is simply the oligarchs demand for EVs at any cost for god knows what reason..

This is absolutely a power move. I'd subsidize small (125CC) mopeds and motorbikes to the point where it would be stupid not to own one, but they want one of the most efficient personal motor vehicles off the road because muh efficiencies.
