People aren't stupid is the reason why EVs are a failure. The only reason the cars are "affordable" with govt subsidies are because of child slave labor used to mine the materials (which go into your Ps5, Xbox, iPhone, smart house bullshit, etc). Replacing slaves with paid workers for what the market will bear will jack up the price into $80k and over range. The Obamacar is on it's last legs. In 10 years EVs will be a niche market, probably in the tourism or hospitality areas.

Until I can get one that will drive 1000 miles on a charge and it takes 2 minutes to charge and chargers are as plenty full as gas stations I'm not getting one. I don't care how good the 0-60 is.

I really like my plug in hybrid and generally it's been a good car. I like having the gas engine for long trips and I can plug it in at night for my work commute.

That said... one time the regenerative breaks got fucked up. The repair was $3000, lmao.

i personally think hybrids are pretty smart. best of both worlds kind of thing. not perfect, but makes way more sense than a battery.

At this point the battery technology was supposed to provide the range of ICE and a charge rate of 5-10 minutes. That never developed. That future promise was the justification provided that EVs can replace ICE, showing we simply allow for the market to develop.

It's more confirmed a house of cards entirely predicated upon control of humanity and forced wealth extraction and transfer to hostile nations and traitors within our own borders. At this point, only useful idiots are buying them and largely, only treasonous shills are still advocating them.
