Diesels are a lot of fun and can make big power. I'm disappointed he didn't have the 2001-2007 Duramax in that line up. I understad why he didn't have a GM 6.5.

Diesel cars are great also. The Mercedes OM606 can reliably produce 400 streetable horses without having to touch the bottom end. The USA got them in the 98 and 99 E300 turbo diesel. Oh, and you can do that with complete removal of engine control computerization. The early 2000's VW TDI is easy to get 40+ mpg and enough power and torque to have lots of fun.
