What? No. It can't possibly be that the majority of people don't want to buy an EV and see them as too expensive after reading horror stories about a minor fender bender costing $10k+ to get fixed. Or that too hot or too cold weather drastically decreases your mileage or that it can sometimes be hard to find a charging station even in a big city (that isn't full already). Gas cars don't really have any of these problems (other than cost).

EVs are sold at a loss and part of that loss is dumped on the taxpayer via "tax rebate". The only people who want an EV are the Teslatards and they'll pay whatever Musk wants to look good on Facebook and when they are canvasing Dim voter districts.

It's much easier to restrict peoples freedom of movement when they are driving electric vehicles...
