Anxiety over being able to charge or getting stranded on the side of the road? If you are going on a road trip and you own a Gas car and a EV I bet most use the Gas car if its more than 50 miles.

The only people who buy EVs are those rich enough to be able to drop $60k on a second car AND arrogant enough to think driving around in an EV will virtue signal how much they care about the environment.
People drive EVs when they want to make a statement and so that they can feel better about themselves. People drive gasoline cars when they really want to get somewhere...
Yea, virtue signaling feels great, but it's idiotic.
I can fill my F-150 in five minutes and drive for 6 hours with some gas still remaining in the tank. How long can you drive a Tesla on five minutes of charging? The Tesla couldn't possibly stay with me on a cross country trip.
Even on a super-charger that at best might get you a couple of miles.
