That sounds pretty bad to me, and that's not how you keep a company going. The car I bought in 2018 cost 22,000$ - less than their loss. (You can buy that same car today for 27,000$ if you want all the things.)

Not only did the sell their cars at a massive loss, it’s a terrible design that requires up to $30000 just to replace a bumper. Sounds pretty bad to me too.
