EVs are troons of the car world. Lots of people say they support them, but no one actually wants one.

I really really hope Tesla pivots and comes out with the best, top of the line, luxury and quality gasoline engine cars. Like BMW / Mercedes but made in the US

Yeah, EVs are what everyone else should be driving...

I will never own one, I have zero interest in electric cars. I just don't see how there's any benefit to them with all things are considered.

If I could get something super cheap as a town runabout, sure. Otherwise, no.

Agreed. If I could use one (range), is inexpensive, battery replacement wasn't more expensive than the value of the vehicle, it would be a no brainer.

I love the idea of an EV. Electric motors and torque are awesome. But reality doesn't align with the idea. Not even close.

Add to this that big tech has absolute control over the tech and you can't buy used without paying extortion to the manufacturer. Confirming you don't actually own your EV. Nothing about them makes sense.

75-100 mile range, 3-4k, two seats and some cargo space, maybe top speed of 45. I could use that every day. Nothing fancy, just a radio and that's about it.

I'd go buy one tomorrow.
