I've repeatedly pointed this out in the past. What they really do is migrate the source of emissions. Rather than make them all around town, they concentrate near power generation and manufacturing sites.

As a rule of thumb, the green energy movement is dumb. EVs have many great aspects but are tethered to big tech's control and battery/charge technology sucks. There isn't enough electricity to support this idiocy. Solar and wind at grid scale is beyond stupid. However, for end users it may make sense. Especially when off grid. Beyond this, any grid not expanding with nuclear is a grid engineered for failure.

All EVs do is move the tail pipe where you can't see it. It also limits travel. A feature!

Well said. Exactly right.

Exactly. You are not decreasing the pollution. You are moving where it is generated while also massively decreasing the efficiency of energy generation and delivery.

They were never meant to reduce carbon emissions. Their primary aim was to allow ICE vehicles to be effectively banned without common people rising up immediately. They knew from the start. It only takes a quick BOTE calculation to see that the power grids of even the most developed countries has no hope of sustaining wide spread EV usage. It was always about severely limiting the free movement of people.

Many of the people who are in thrall of the cult of Scientism accepted the lies that EVs will solve everything. They didn't think it through even slightly because they are in a cult and are incapable of seeing anything that contradicts their beliefs.

The power grid in my local area can barely handle the AC load in the summer. Going to be interesting.
