Thanks for posting this one. Those are just plain beautiful cars from a time gone by.

Now the primary considerations in car styling are fuel economy and safety requirements.

Yes. That and constant government regulations have taken the art out of the common vehicle. You really have to have 6 figures to be able to afford to drive a piece of art. Just a shame what all has happened to the regular man's car. Zero expression in cars these days.

I have wondered before what the people of then would think of cars now...

Then consider the abominations that are the crossovers. shudders

I hate them so much.

Jesus! I've never seen such a collection. Too bad they can't be kept together. It's unlikely this will ever be duplicated.

Sad he didn't let more people see it.

He's got a whole damn museum there.

I've never seen a museum with that many vehicles.

Michigan has a couple. Henry Ford and Gilmore Museums have a lot. Although Henry Ford probably doesn't have that many cars, but it has a lot of planes and trains to make up for it.

It is physically painful to see such a valuable collection left to decay like that. I mean, why bother even collecting them in the first place if you're not even going to enjoy them and just let them rot away like that. There are kids that take better care of their baseball cards and comic books collections than that. After seeing this, the news of of the owners dementia does not come as any surprise. This isn't collecting. It's hoarding.

Those are absolutely gorgeous. Pieces of art from when White man ruled the world.
