Electric motors have to be isolated and properly made in order to not interfere with AM signals. This is them being cheap. AM likely won't work on any ford with an electric drive train. Rather than adding a few bucks to the process, they chose to just remove the feature and hide the bug.

i wont be buying a new vehicle ever again. if you need one, buy one thats about 20 years old and youll find that they are easier to fix yourself, along with parts that don't cost an arm and a leg. plus, it has more than likely been fixed by someone on jewtube, so even if you dont know how to fix it, someone has done it and posted it in user friendly format. usually. of course, you must also buy a chiltons manual

One more reason for the long list of why not to buy an electric Ford.

Now that Rush is gone, I don't listen to AM radio nearly as much, but out of years of habit I still have the radio set to that local AM station and occasionally listen to Howie Carr and Grace Curley. Kind of like drinking decaf but tastes better than the bullshit on FM.

I pretty much quit AM when the local classical station went to FM.

I love classical music, it was the only music I used to listen to while working on code. I found lyrics much too distracting. The only reason AM has survived and thrived this long is because of right wing commentary. Rush was the best, all others pale in comparison.

How about instead of a radio it just comes with an amp with an easy access input and speakers so I can just plug-in whatever I want without the extra layer of shit I don't want in the way.
