Sometimes the motor in the switch panel that controls the individual needle goes bad, try finding the fuse that controls the panel, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. My old chevy did this and pulling the fuse would reset the dashboard.

Would that cause a parasitic drain? I just had a battery go dead in this, but I just chocked it up to the cold weather.
