Yet another fake thing to add to the list: president, vice president, healthcare, meat, news, schools, trucks, money, food...
I'm subscribed to Hoovie's Garage and watched this episode a few days ago. I was thinking about posting it, got sidetracked and forgot about it. Glad you posted it!.
The truck can most certainly be amazing.
But guess why the range is so low?
They have to skimp on the batteries to not make this truck weigh 8,000lbs.
Battery tech is just not cheap enough and light enough to make them comparable to petro-vehicles. If you want a quiet, nearly-emission free, fun vehicle, get an electric car. Especially if you live in a city and are not too far from work. But if you need to do any amount of long distance driving on the weekly, you should look for a petroleum-based vehicle. If you care about the environment, get a natural gas vehicle. Seriously.
