Was a 1974. Originally had a 1.8L but when that died I swapped it for a 2.0L and made some other upgrades. Damn thing would do almost 140 flat out. Noisy as fuck, but so much fun to drive.

I may be familiar…. Property set up they would easily best 1g on the skid pad. Lowest polar moment of inertia of any car. Convert it to 916 ish specs and it was untouchable. Yes, I miss them too.

I tend to like the Porsches that don't look like 911s: 914, 944, 928...

It was a great car. Provided a lot more excitement and fun than one might think it would. Really glad I had the experience.

I have a streetable Lotus Super Se7en now, so I've got the small, light, maneuverable car experience down :)

I once bought a Chrysler with a 383 engine in March of 1983. That was a 383 during 3/83.
