Electric cars point out a truth that most people take for granted -- regular gasoline-powered cars are incredibly reliable. Over the decades the technology that goes into a car has been refined and refined until we don't expect them to fail. Electric cars, on the other hand, are not so reliable, and that includes the charging aspect of them, which is essential if you want to drive anywhere away from home.
Imagine, if you will, that your electric car is on its last gasp of charge, and you pull up to the only charging station within 40 miles late on a Sunday night, and there are 12 cars ahead of you, waiting to charge. Each one is going to take a minimum of around half an hour to partially charge itself. You are looking at a six hour wait, and you can't go anywhere because you electric car has only 7 miles left in its battery. How many times would this have to happen before you decided you really didn't want to own an electric car after all?
judging on how many idiots are having the 4ourth jab.... I do say, at least four times
