Nothing built now will be running in 20yrs.
Cars in general have so many conspiracies baked in.
What you say is true, but is one of the lower ones. The one i hate the most is serviceability.
I hate how most of the decent new cars have built in GPS. Anyone know how to disable it?
Depends on how the car senses the module is in place. Could be as simple as matching the resistance of the module.
Not anymore. Most modules use the CANbus network to communicate. Even lightbulbs in cars can have CANbus on them to determine if the bulb is good or not. Resistive detection phased out decades ago.
I searched "canbus spoofing" and got a bunch of results. Seems doable.
Cheap, reliable, fast. Pick two
If your sense of self worth is related in even the tiniest way with how your car looks, the problem is with you my friend.
Might have been cheap, but I miss my old Geo Tracker every day
Geo Tracker is a replica of Suzuki Vitara. Very nice car.
I like the way my Focus looks. Last car I had before that was a base model Pontiac G5, manual transmission. It also looked nice despite being like $13,000 new off the lot. I bought it used for a small fraction of that. Ditto with my Focus.
Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder my friend.
