Electricity is instant, liquid is not. They will have control of every sub-station. Those few with panels will use it for themselves, not for the thousands around them. It doesn't matter that you can produce your own, that is the micro picture, I am looking at the mass control macro picture. The elites have not overlooked the ability of using solar panels for EVs. The goal is control over the heard, the one or two sheep that escape are later dealt with. 300 million others will not, and when they shutdown parts of the grid, they are stuck and society stops. Also, now the ability for millions to travel easily across states is not possible with all EVs and a shutdown grid.
