I thought computers were black magic but holy shit, car engines are also absolutely genius in their design and function.

How the heck did people even come up with such an amazing idea? Why don’t we have more awesome, technologically innovative ideas?

OTOH, so many drivers can't drive worth a damn in 2 dimensions, why would we increase it to 3?

It wouldn't be.

Planes essentially fly in 2 dimensions except landing and takeoff.

And yes we meme drivers.

But consider biases all humans have.

Drivers pass by thousands of other drives everyday.

Are they counted when considering those occasional run ins with bad driving?
